*Overview*
The integration of AI into interactive systems brings both new
opportunities and challenges for Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and User
Experience (UX). *EMUXAI 2025* invites researchers and practitioners to
explore engineering methods that ensure usability, transparency,
trustworthiness, and ethical alignment in AI-driven systems.
We aim to advance best practices by sharing challenges, solutions, and
visions for future research at the intersection of AI, HCI, and UX.
*Topics of Interest include (but are not limited to):*
-
Explainable AI and user-centered design
-
UX evaluation for adaptive and generative AI systems
-
Usability challenges in sensitive domains (healthcare, finance,
autonomous systems)
-
Engineering transparency and trust into AI interfaces
-
Cognitive models and user-aligned AI explanations
-
AI-specific UX metrics and longitudinal studies
-
Ethical, fair, and privacy-conscious AI design
