Hi all,

you might have seen on X or on SIGCHI mailing lists that the SIGCHI Steering Committee is looking for feedback from the community about how to shape the future of CHI.

The reasons why CHI needs to change are outlined in these two posts:

  1. https://chi.acm.org/finances-and-format-context/
  2. https://chi.acm.org/finances-and-format-shaping/

There are practical and financial reasons for these changes, but how it changes, is up to you too – so, if you haven’t already, please do have a say of what you think CHI should look like: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/5XDGSCN

The survey closes in two days on December 20th, so fill it out now! 😊

Hope you have a restful break and a good start to 2024!
