Call for Doctoral Consortium
  • Deadline: April 19, 2024
  • Notification: May 24, 2024
  • Camera Ready: after the conference (post-proceedings)
Late-Breaking Results (LBR) describe preliminary results of ongoing research or incremental work that present new ideas, concepts, systems, or approaches focusing on methods, techniques, and tools supporting the design and development of interactive systems.

Posters and Demos allow researchers and practitioners to present their work-in-progress and showcase practical applications and new HCI techniques related to the main topics of EICS.

Doctoral Consortium offers PhD students the chance to present their research goals and intermediate results, engage with experts and peers, receive constructive feedback, exchange ideas, and discuss career-related concerns.

Topics include but are not limited to:
  • Modeling, specification, and analysis of interaction and interactive systems
  • Model-based development of interactive software
  • Requirements engineering for interactive systems
  • Methods, processes, principles, and tools for building interactive systems
  • Software architectures for interactive systems
  • Formal methods within interactive systems engineering
  • Frameworks, toolkits, domain-specific languages, and APIs for interactive systems
  • Integrating engineering issues in the design process of interactive systems
  • Engineering interactive applications with emerging technologies
  • Engineering interactive systems for various users and application domains
  • Engineering interactive systems for specific properties
  • Building Human-centred AI systems
For more information on submission guidelines and topics, please visit the conference website: https://eics.acm.org/2024/

We encourage you to share your research and join us in Cagliari for EICS 2024, where you can engage in discussions, receive valuable feedback, and contribute to advancing interactive systems engineering.

Please feel free to distribute this email to relevant mailing lists, colleagues, and networks.

We look forward to your submissions and to welcoming you to EICS 2024!

Best regards,

Davide Spano
